Scoliosis is a medical term used to describe the abnormal curvature of the spine. This curvature can range from mild to severe, and any part of the spine may be affected; however, it is most common in the lower back (lumbar scoliosis) or chest (thoracic scoliosis). While some cases of scoliosis require no treatment or management, others can cause serious damage to the spine, heart, lung, and pelvis if left unchecked.

Scoliosis Treatment

At CTC Integrated Healthcare, we’re dedicated to helping patients manage their scoliosis without the use of surgery or drugs. Our practice offers SpineCor bracing, which is an innovative corrective brace that allows users to lead a more active lifestyle than traditional braces allowed. Because this brace is not made of a rigid structure, it is also much more comfortable.

In addition to braces, we offer a number of chiropractic and physical rehabilitation therapies designed to treat your condition as well as relieve any pain associated with your scoliosis.

Spinal Disorders

Each segment of the spine is crucial to the well being of the entire spinal column and cord since the strength of each portion is contingent upon the other vertebrae and discs to function properly. Through time, the spine may be subjected to constant stress, repetitive or high impact injuries, diseases, and arthritis. These conditions can cause pain, degeneration, and lack of function.

Chiropractic embraces the science of life, the knowledge of how organisms act in health and disease, and also the art of adjusting the neuroskeleton.
